Everyday is a struggle
'Nobody loves me, they are better off without me' A popular phrase by a depressed person feeling hopeless and alone. Death becomes a close friend and knocks at the door constantly with no fear. I was once a victim of depression and sometimes still hang on the fence. Losing the innocence of childhood into the guilt of the teenage years, i struggled with life putting up a fake smile i had practiced over the years. Depression to me is a deep hollow pit that keeps dragging you in as you go deeper. Some people might think, how can you be depressed at such a young age? I have discovered that age is not a factor with depression. We all get depressed at a point in our lives over different circumstances like the death of a loved one, failure, stress of life and so many more but its how long we dwell in that state that becomes a problem. It gradually leads to attempt at suicide or actually dying by suicide and sadly most families are not so prone to therapy. The
